The First Hadees or saying of Prophet Mohammed may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him is traced in the very first saying in the most revered and respected collection of sayings of Prophet of Allah by any Islamic Scholar and compiler of sayings of prophet Mohammed, Imam Bukhari.
The very first Hadees presented by Imam Bukhari and it is attributed to none other than Hazarat Omar may Allah agree with him, the Caliph of Islam said he heard Mohammed sas may peace and blessings of Allah be on him said “Inna-mal- amal- bi-niyaat, ie “Every action is judged by intention”
Let us for a moment look around and gauge our selves and the society we live in and the people we interact with and deal with how true they are to this rule given to us by Prophet of God, Mohammed may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
There were hand full of companions and followers may Allah agree with them all, with Mohammed may Alllah’s peace and blessings be on him in the early days of elevation of Mohammed may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, as Prophet of Allah and the first verse in the form of revelation and guidance, came to him when he was of age 40, w by Angel of Revelations Gabriel he, echoed at Cave Hira in the mountains of Holy City of Makkah which is home for House of Allah Kaba.http://www.adilmohdblog.com/mohammed-sas-and-the-first-quranic-verse-revealed-on-him-at-cave-hira/
The Angel said, `Recite!’ He said in surprise, `What shall I recite?’ Again the divine voice very clearly and openly called out, `Recite, O Muhammad!’ And a third time Gabriel repeated, “Recite in the Name of Your Lord Who created. He created the human being from a clot. Recite and your Lord is Most Honorable, Who taught (to write) with the pen, taught the human being what he knew not…” Holy Quran (Alaq 96: 1-5)
An indescribable excitement and eagerness overcame the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for he had come into contact with a supreme supernatural world.
His high spirit had now found a sacred support and an eternal refuge. He saw in himself the power of prophecy that brought to him, just peace and confidence within him.
Which soon, transformed Makkain society from barbarism, the Makkain of that time, buried girl child alive on her birth. Furious and unjust practices were order of the day in that society of ” Jahalat” They were unjust lot of disbelievers, who blindly followed the rituals of ill guided elders blindly.
It was a society which looted travelers, abused women, plegued with tribal rivalries, living in conflicts, thirsty revenge, they were one of the worst examples of human society. From such barbarism Mohammed sas transformed with the power of Quran and his teaching in to a society of Justice, Peace and Equals.
Today, by Allah’s grace, Quran and documented teachings of Prophet Mohammed sas are available for all who wish to refer, and be guided with. Providing great opportunity to spread right message of Islam.
Why then we see turmoil in our life’s ? Why then scholars are found working against the interest of the Islam and Muslim,
We find Intellectuals, flawed, contradicting the wisdom they acquired
Number of Islamic nations that come in to existence pledging to stand by the ethos of Islam and its values its, have failed to keep pride are subject to social and cultural decay, shelving the values they were expected to stand on?
Why is it that the Islamic world is so help less today, a population of 1.5 billion, every with 4.5 th walking human being is a Muslim.?
Can we firmly agree ”Our outer is true reflection of our inner” this is a question we need to ask out selfs and find answer to.
Why relations have lost significance today ?
The darkness of inner-self succeeds to seek refuge under glittering attire of “Munafiqat and Makkar” ?
Teachings on one side, decades of love, care, respect, trust, and affection comes in the form of deceive and mistrust.
Why do the powerful in Islamic world do not hesitate to side with unjust abusers of humanity ? Who is forcing them to play double role, one for those whom they like and one for those they do not like.
Why it happens our enemies succeed in showing us on the wrong side of the law, though we may not be so. How are they winning in their conspiracies and resolves against us ?
The weakness in Umma originating from the corrupt mentalities of the rulers and people in power who consider diplomacy to fence self interest in bargain to interest of the own people and humanity at large.
Most suffer a peculiar syndrome, of guilty convert in to pride it also boasts him and encourages further, subsequently giving him pleasures. Neither the masters nor the men in authority seem to care for the governed or ruled.
Why just are crushed, unjust glorified ? Why Humanity should suffer disgrace in the name of protecting it Values flushed away in to a drain ? Why material and Za’haer (apparent) has become taller than our Q’albh, (The inner self ).
The community is divided on religious grounds each blaming the other for the divide, none are working on the ground of commonalities and points of agreement, each is stretching on the points of conflict not showing any sigh of lessening the gaps, pouring in energies to spoil.
Failing to remember a well taught and learned lesson of unity being of Umma and standing in all adversities as one people overlooking the differences among.
Quran declared Muslim Umma as the best people entrusted with noble task of calling mankind toward good and stopping them from bad.
Islam made obligatory for every Muslim five times Salat, each time he or she prayers it is also obligatory to perform Wadhu, cleaning of hands, face, head, arms and foot.
Most of us do pray five times a day.How many of us remember when was it last we attempted t ablution of Qalbh.
A true Muslim is obedient submission to the will of Allah and reaching out five times in prayers is such a act with basic purpose of cleansing the soul, mind and Qallb as the Hadees with which we started with in the very first sentence was all actions are rewarded on the basis of our intentions.
If intentions are pure the Ablution of Qalbh would be first effect of our piety towards Allah. Not to mention those who do not in habit of regular obidiece towards Allah and his commands.
One might think what made me to sound with such remorse.
Our beloved Propeht Mohammed sas teachings, are Do not be mere spectator to the evils that you see, try to protest and register dislike.
I f possible try to expose and stop them from happening.
Remaining silent spectator to massacre of justice and malfunction of minds of people who promote evil in society, will make us partners with the evil mongers, it is possible one who is silent spectator may be counted among the wrong doers and will not be forgiven.
It becomes responsibility of all who feel their inner self is alive.
To raise his or her voice to expose and try to correct and register his or her protest,in the capacity he or she can.
Calling for self and collective introspection.
Let me make it a point every time I sit for Wadu to also do my Ablution of Q’albh, and put my intentions to litmus test.
God willing. Inshallalh.
